Blog Post 1 - Wing Young Huie

Wing Young Huie - 2013  As we take a first glance at this photograph we are able to see an old blue car with a pink blanket over the windshield. This car is sitting next to what looks like the edge of a hill that goes down into a forest with many dying trees. The car is off and sitting on the edge of a dirt road with no other signs of life in sight. When taking a deeper look into this photograph we can infer that there are people in this car who are homeless but they put the blanket over the windshield to block out the sunlight while they attempt to sleep. This car looks like it is many years old and that it has been beat up quite a bit, making it even more apparent that these people do not have enough money to get by. I also am able to interpret this in a way that shows the car on the side of a dirt road with no one around to show that these people wanted to be alone and they went very far away from all other civilization.
